Executive Summary The Board has requested to amend the agreement with the City of Gainesville regarding proceeds of the local option gas tax.
Background On May 22, 2007, Alachua County entered into an agreement with the City of Gainesville regarding the distribution of proceeds of the local option gas tax. In July, the Board requested that the agreement be amended to include the priority for County projects funded by gas tax revenues. The attached agreement contains the categories and percent of funding for County projects.
