ANNOUNCEMENT Effective June 1, 2008, Florida Statute 201.022 is repealed. This repeal means that the DR-219 form, Return of Transfer of Interest in Real Property, will no longer be required. The obligation to pay documentary stamp taxes on any document transferring an interest in real property still exists and the payment of these taxes through the Clerk of Court's office still exists. Per Florida Statute 201.17, failure to pay these taxes results in a penalty and interest may accrue.
