How to Use Public Records Search
The Clerk has attempted to make searching the Alachua County online public records index as easy as possible. You should only enter the criteria by which you wish the computer to search. You do not need to enter data into every field.
Name:
If you are searching by name, enter Last Name, First Name in the "Name" field.
If you are searching by company name, enter the company name in the "Name" field.
Date Filed From:
Enter the date or date range that you wish to search for.

You will not be able to do online research for records prior to August 21, 1971. Records prior to August 21, 1971 may be researched at the Official Records Office located on the south side of the first floor of the Alachua County Family / Civil Justice Center.
Instrument Number From:
You may enter the instrument number, if known, and the exact record will be retrieved. You may also enter a range if you know the approximate instrument number of the document you wish to access.
Document Type:
You may enter the document type (click on arrow for a drop-down menu to select a document type) to search by.
Book - Page:
You may enter the document's book and page, if known, and the index for that book and page will be retrieved.
