Alachua County thanks you for serving our country and appreciates all you have done to protect our freedom.
When you contact the Office of Veteran Services you will be referred to a service officer or counselor for assistance. Both have a compassionate understanding of the problems that confronts veterans and their dependents. They know the extent, the meaning, and the application of laws that have been passed by the U.S. Congress in the interests of all veterans. This knowledge will be used to assist our clients in securing all benefits earned as a result of serving in the military.
We recommend contacting this office to schedule an appointment with one of our fully trained counselors. During the scheduling process you will be informed as to what documents and supporting evidence you will need to complete the application procedure.
