Meth Labs and Dumps: Attached is a fact sheet with information on methamphetamine labs and dumps. If you run into one of these sites in the field contact the police immediately. The police will notify the DEA and they will take care of the cleanup and remediation. Do not inspect the site, in addition to the high risks associated with the hazardous materials/waste used in meth preparation, the sites are usually booby trapped. If you receive a complaint that may involve a meth lab or dump, do not visit the site, contact the police.
