EAR - Online Survey
The Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR) evaluates the success in addressing major community issues through the Alachua County Comprehensive Plan and provides recommendations for update and/or revision of the Plan. The Work Plan approved by the Board of County Commissioners organizes the process into three phases beginning with identification of the major community issues and ending with adoption of the Report in August 2009.
As part of Phase I of the process, the County is interested in having the public help identify the 10-15 major community issues that should be addressed as part of the EAR. The list of issues will be determined by gathering as much information as possible from the community, staff and other local agency representatives. These issues must be things that the Comprehensive Plan is intended to deal with such as land development, transportation, the environment, recreation, agriculture, public safety, etc. You can review the Comprehensive Plan Overview Presentation for a better understanding of the major focus of each Element in the Plan. Please answer the following questions to help give us an indication of what types of issues you think should be included in the EAR.
