Operations & Help Desk
Operations is responsible for all IS computer operations, including management of the central computer room and all AS/400 mid range systems and LAN processors. Operations schedules and runs all periodic and ad hoc processing, provides customer assistance help desk coverage, maintains tape library, provides courier service, and rotation of critical data off-site locations for Disaster Recovery.
The Help Desk area of responsibility is to answer calls, create, track and update Incident/Service Request. Provide technical support for all approved County software and hardware. Assist with Desktop and laptop offsite incident problems. Continue to find innovative ways to improve the level of Customer Service and strive for a Center of Excellence
