The Alachua County Animal Shelter's list of adoptable pets is available on www.PetHarbor.com. This non-profit organization helps many shelters by providing an online database, complete with photographs, of adoptable or lost pets.

Before you take on the responsibility of caring for an animal, make sure you are ready. If you are sure you are ready, you can view the adoption process and fees and even submit an online application (or print one out and take it with you).
