Fees

These figures do not show all of the fees for the many services we provide. Please see our Full Fee List for more info.

Dogs & Cats

  • Dog and puppy adoptions: $80
  • Cat and kitten adoptions: $70
  • All New Hope adoptions (dog or cat): $45
  • Senior Citizens and Alachua County Employees enjoy a 20% discount.
  • Microchip Identification Implant: $15 (additional fees may apply)

The Adoption Fee includes:

  • Mandatory spay or neuter surgery (if needed)
  • Rabies vaccination and County license tag
  • First FVRCCP (cats) or DH2PPV/Bortadella (dogs)
  • Veterinary Examination
  • Heartworm or Feline Leukemia test
  • De-worming
