  • Identifies and prioritizes County Road System transportation improvement needs
  • Identifies funding opportunities for improvement of the County Road System through a close working relationship with both Federal and State transportation agencies
  • Provides for transportation planning by maintaining and utilizing a computer mapping and data management system
  • Maintains Concurrency Tables for roadways in unincorporated areas.
  • Reviews development plans for consistency with the Unified Land Development Regulations and the Transportation Mobility Element of the Comprehensive Plan
  • Reviews zoning applications
  • Reviews and approves traffic studies
